What is the best niche marketing?

I just started affiliate marketing with click-bank. I started marketing anti-panic attack and anti-anxiety products. I haven’t made any money yet and I’m trying to figure out what niche I should market next. I was thinking something like diet products but I’m not sure. Any advice on how to make money? Or advice on what niche to choose next?
that isn’t what i was looking for. Just want some ideas on good niches to market.

Try and look for niches that other advertisers are spending money in. This is a great indicator that the niche is profitable and people are making money. However if there are too many advertisers, unless you have deep pockets, you will be overwhelmed with competition.

Keep an eye out on ads you see on tv. Try and look at it how the advertiser does. Who are they marketing to? What market are they in? What problem are they trying to solve? This will give you tons of niche ideas. Take these ideas and find a product to sell on click bank to this niche.

Lastly, for niche marketing, I would choose a niche that you are passionate about. I feel this is the key. You may have to create content for ads and websites. If you were passionate about what you are writing or creating wouldn’t that be more fun?

This is a strategy called loss leader.

As an online business person you are ill-equipped to market to the high traffic keywords (read huge markets) both monetarily and capacity wise. Unless you like the feeling of your head cramped in a vice, you are better of targeting more low-traffic yet closely related keywords – a clever concept in niche marketting. Though the internet does give you access to these huge markets theoretically, you will be quickly overwhelmed trying to satisfy it.

As a small business, trying to fight for the same market as itunes or amazon is often suicidal. However by going into niche marketing you could provide exclusively East-African Music and compete very effectively with itunes or sell specifically motvational books and compete effectively with amazon. These smaller markets provide niches which as a small internet business you can not only satisfy but easily over-deliver. Niche marketing may provide less traffic but when well structure they give you more business.

& why many analysts regard a niche marketing approach as dangerous

I’m not aware of anyone who considers niche marketing to be dangerous.

“Niche marketing” usually refers to focusing some marketing efforts on a narrow field, rather than broad-based audiences.

I’m not sure what “market segmentation” refers to in your question; it probably just means the notion of slicing a large market into smaller niches.

For example, if I sell lawn mowers, I might focus 10% of my marketing budget to target landscaping contractors, who buy multiple lawn mowers each year (perhaps I’d buy ads in industry publications, or do a direct mailing; and another 10% of my marketing budget to reach managers of apartment properties that have landscaping staff; I might budget 20% of the marketing budget to reach resellers (dealers, stores) that sell lawn mowers; and I might allocate the other 60% of my marketing budget to reach consumers.

If I sell herbs and spices, I might choose to allocate some of my marketing budget to consumers who seek specific health benefits from herbs and spices, as compared to consumers who simply seek flavor.

If I sell two-line cordless phones, I might target small businesses and perhaps even a specific industry (dentists or pawn brokers) that my research indicates are likely buyers of two-line cordless phones.

Every product sold serves multiple “niche markets,” and every market can be divided into segments.

If there is any danger, it would be in focusing too much on a single niche or segment, and missing opportunities in other niches or segments. A great example is “destination travel” or “tourism,” where marketers seek to attract tourists to visit a specific location (Orlando, Chicago, San Francisco, Paris). Apparently, gay couples spend more on such trips than most other “market segments,” and therefore it can be profitable to allocate marketing dollars to target that audience. However, if the marketer chooses to exclude that niche (for whatever reason), there is a danger that other marketers will capture that niche, and earn more profits. Likewise, if 90% of the budget is spent on “gay tourism” then there is a risk not only of not “reaching” other potential visitors, but even of creating an impression that the destination is a “gay” or even “gay-only” destination, which might deter straight people from visiting.

demand for a product or service.”

The word ‘marketing’ is defined as: “Providing an opportunity to buy

or sell a product or service.”

If you put the two words together, niche marketing means buying or

selling a product or service in a special area of demand. All that really

means is that a product or service is being offered and sold NOT to the

world in general …. but instead to a highly targeted group of people

who are *already interested* in, or at least have a common need, for

that particular product or service.

So a niche marketing campaign must be designed to meet the unique

needs and desires of a very targeted audience. At the same time,

successful niche marketers tailor their product or service specifically to

If, for example, you have designed a product to make dog grooming

easy for the everyday dog owner, then your market could include

owners of many different dog breeds.

On the other hand, if your

product is geared toward grooming poodles, it would be a waste of

your time and resources to market your product to people who own

other dog breeds besides poodles.

If you have written an ebook that explains how to start and succeed at

a home business, the people who are looking for that sort of

information will be your niche market.

Those people who are perfectly happy with punching a time clock

every day probably are not interested at all.

I’m interested in starting a staffing company and would like to fill a niche in a market for employment. Everyone does finance or administrative. What is one that you haven’t seen or don’t see enough of? If you’re unemployed and in a niche market, what is it?

Going into tax season, I’d do tax preparers. I’d find a way to tier my workers (CPA’s on top, EA’s in the middle, and experienced non-certifieds at the bottom). I’d also group them by experience (either individual, payroll or business depending on what they’ve done).

Everyone needs their taxes done, so you have a good chance at high volume for 4 months to get you going.

Finding your way in niche marketing is fairly easy. All you have to do is be open to opportunities that come your way. However, the following tips and advice could help you find niche marketing success. Read on and understand these with an open mind.

Look in and know thyself

It is particularly helpful to know the specific areas and fields that you have excellent and confident knowledge on. To be able to know which fields are these, it would be best to ask yourself what it is you enjoy doing the most.

List it all and list it good

Upon listing the necessary keywords, determining just how in-demand these words are online is a good gauge to how you should start with your niche marketing.

Try running these particular keywords through an online tool which will be able to determine just how in-demand these keywords are – meaning how much are these words searched – and how much their supply is – meaning the quantity of websites that list these particular words.

Remember that you need to have words that are in-demand and whose supply is low.

Know thy price

When you already have a good idea of the particular words that have a good potential, try to check the prices for these keywords on Overture or through Google AdWords.

As much as possible, try searching for specific products which are offered through a program affiliate and one which pays high commissions or one that is sell-able through a store online.

Take note that your business should have good potential for profit.

Know thy competition

In the niche marketing business, it is always good to review and assess your competitors.

Know just how your competitors are doing their own thing. Could you do what they are doing? Could you do it better?
