article marketing: how often should i post articles to article directories for the same site?
hey,
anybody knows how to do article marketing the proper way? i would be interested to know how often i should post articles to article directories for an adsense website. let’s say that the website has 10 pages and that i write 10 articles (1 for each page of the site) and then i submit each of those articles to all major article directories like ezinearticles.com and articledashboard.com etc.
my question is this: once i have submitted those 10 articles is my work done for that website or i should write other DIFFERENT 10 articles and submit those ones as well? and if i should continue doing this, how many times should i do it and at what intervals of time?

Hi John,
It actually depends on a few things:
1. What’s the topic of your site (i.e. how competitive is the market)
2. How fast do you want results
3. What results are you looking for
If you post 10 articles, the site will likely start getting traffic from the start. How much traffic it gets depends mainly on how popular your topic is, how good your article bio box is, and how much competition there is for that topic. The quality of your articles and how well your resource box is written also play major roles.
In a really competitive niche like payday loans or weight loss for example, you may not get much traffic from just 10 articles.
Even if you immediately start getting 100 visitors a day from those 10 articles though, you may only earn a dollar or so because there are many factors on your site which play a role in getting clicks. And of course the niche you’ve chosen may or may not be profitable.
So the best answer is: However many it takes to get the results you want.
If you want to earn $10 a day then keep writing and distributing articles till you’ve reached that goal. If you’re happy with $1 a day then 10 articles may do the trick.
Keep in mind that article marketing is a long term approach too. So the first 10 articles you release may not start producing decent results for as long as 3 months.

Writing articles and publishing them on article web sites is a great way to bring you targeted web traffic. And sometimes these same articles will quickly rank on search engine results pages. This gives you another opportunity for visitors to find your site. These articles should have keywords or search phrases in them that visitors use to find information on your website topic. For example, if you have a website on aquariums. You would want your article to have phrases in it about aquariums or fish. These keywords should be considered in all three ways I discuss to get targeted web traffic.
Keep in mind, one article will not get the amount of targeted web traffic you are looking for. You will need to write and submit several articles focusing on the topic or niche of your web site. Most article web sites do not allow you to put links to any web sites in the body of the article. WordPress has both types. I believe it is better to have your own blog so you are in control of the blog contents. Blogging is a platform that encourages the question “What’s on your mind?” to be answered. This type of site allows you to put in your own content, create links to your sites or other sites, similar to social media sites. Updating your blog weekly is a must. The search engines love new content. These updates can be short. Microblogging are sites that encourage very short entries, some only a couple of lines. One of these sites is Twitter. If blogging asks, “what’s on your mind?”, microblogging asks, “what’s on your mind right now?”As with blogging, you can link to your web site with microblogs, but be sure to provide good, informative content.
Using all three of these traffic generating ideas together will help bring in a steady stream of traffic. All of these ideas should be done on a consistent basis to keep the flow of targeted web traffic going to your site. Although I have only listed a few resources, there are almost unlimited resources that can be used to get targeted web traffic.
